DIALOGUE
-Where is the prayer?
-Dead! Don’t you know
that it’s dead?
You’ll find it in there,
on its back, on the cold tiles of the church.
-In life it was my
sister…
I want to go in to see
it.
-Did the prayer have a
sister?
-It had a sister:
blasphemy.
It was the white dove,
I am the black rat.
-And what have you all
come for?
Have you just come to see
it?
-And to inherit its
duties…
to succeed it.
-But where is God? Where
is God?
-In the beak of the
prayer…
or on the tail of
blasphemy.
